Liberty 1-05 008 * The first time we walked the property. This is the existing pond area, frozen over * 640 x 480 * (56KB)
Liberty 1-05 019 * a shot of the walking trail that winds down into the valley just down-stream of the proposed dam
site. * 640 x 480 * (75KB)
Liberty 1-05 020 * another shot of the same walking trail, panning toward the proposed dam site * 640 x 480 * (79KB)
Liberty 1-05 027 * this shot is pretty much the view that made my checkbook vibrate. When we first examined the
parcel, the owner took us out, one at a time, on a Polaris 4 wheeler. We had already done our
due diligence by examining the aerial photos and topo maps online. I was unsure if the topo
would be suitable for a pond. I knew the direction we were heading on the Polaris and when we
came over this crest I am sure my smile went ear-to-ear. * 640 x 480 * (79KB)
pond stitch bldg site * a stitch of Donna surveying building site option #1; this is probably the best site option for
grade and elevation....but....it loses points for being within about 250 feet of the neighboring
property line and, although the view will be fairly long looking up the wide draw, it is not the
best view IMO. Option #2 will be more westerly and look the length of the pond to the dam site. * 640 x 294 * (46KB)
pond stitch bott bldg site * another stitch of frozen pond site; this set of pic's is taken from the foot of the ridge that
creates building site option #1. This view is northerly and looks up into the wide draw that
should eventually be cleared about 200-300 feet wide and about 300-400 feet to the end. * 640 x 217 * (26KB)

Liberty Pond stitch * a stitch of the frozen pond area, looking toward building site option #2. Alot easier to see
the terrain without leaves on the trees; imagine about 6 feet of water on top of this surface
and stretching back into the woods. Once the proposed water line is established, fire up the
bulldozer and earthmover and create more depth, particularly in the shallows * 640 x 302 * (39KB)
2-05 Liberty 013 * Donna looks over one of the building site potentials * 640 x 480 * (94KB)
2-05 Liberty 014 * Same building site area * 640 x 480 * (91KB)
2-05 Liberty 015 * One of the paths leading toward the pond site and a building site * 640 x 480 * (82KB)
2-05 Liberty 019 * Same potential building site, looking over the frozen surface of an existing small pond area * 640 x 480 * (90KB)
2-05 Liberty 018 * easy to see the terrain without leaves * 640 x 480 * (90KB)

2-05 Liberty 017 * don't even bother thinking about raking up this mess * 640 x 480 * (86KB)
2-05 Liberty 020 * one of the many nice hickory trees * 640 x 480 * (87KB)
2-05 Liberty 021 * more naked trees * 640 x 480 * (91KB)
2-05 Liberty 024 * just over the crest of a potential building site, looking down into the area where the pond
should stretch about 400-500 feet straight away, following up into a broad draw * 640 x 480 * (80KB)
2-05 Liberty 028 * same frozen surface; preliminary elevations shot indicate that the normal pond pool should be
approx 6 feet over this frozen surface. the area straight away and a little to the right is themore likely building site * 640 x 480 * (75KB)
2-05 Liberty 029 * the broad and gradual draw runs up to the left side; it should go another 400 ft or so creating a very cool cove * 640 x 480 * (65KB)
